These are some of the technologies I have been working with day-to-day the last few years (last updated 23.04.2016)

I have been using Linux as my main computing platform for a long time now. All my servers and workstations run variations of Linux, everything from Gentoo, Fedora and Arch linux on my workstations, to CentOS and Debian on my servers.
Being an advanced user of Linux and loving to learn the way the operating system 60% of all servers in the world use has its perks. The terminal is my friend, which makes it relly easy to work remotely - even so far as to being able to compile programs and deploy code from my phone on the bus.
Security and encryption
Another of my hobbies is to learn about encryption and security. This is something that goes hand in hand with my love of Linux and hosting servers. This website, for example, scores A+ on the SSL server test, which is not trivial.
Multimedia and design
I come from a university background as a multimedia-technologist, which is a fancy term for a programmer/designer. Photography, videography, post-processing of both, music production, 3D and animation are some of the areas I have experience in.
Most of these are rusty and mostly irrelevant at my current point in life, but it is unquestionably an asset to be able to make a few quick adjustments to a logo, reduce and compress an image and such quick fixes without involving a designer.
